Another brew, another review. The blokes were joined by a very special guest this week: the man/myth/legend @crafternoons_in_ Heading over to Ben’s favourite spot in Doubleview, Little Sisto, the blokes were keen to see what all the fuss was about…
Vibes 🍃- The blokes are fond of Doubleview, and Little Sisto was packed to the rafters with locals eager for their weekend brew. With a very cool multi-layered structure, Little Sisto makes the most of a small ish space, and the blokes loved the beer-garden vibe out the back. Happy days and smooth brews as far as the blokes are concerned on vibes.
Taste 👅- One of Ben’s favourite tastes and we can see why… no, it wasn’t the seasoning, or how toasted it was, it was the expert craftsmanship from Ozzy Park roasters Micrology. A Brazillian/Guatemala/Ethiopian based blend with a perfect kick of character we have been missing for a while. Notes of caramel with a toasted toffee and cherry finish to give it that character.
Temperature 🌡- The temperature put in a real good shift today. Absolute workhorse🐎.
Glass Size 📏 – Thank-you very much, appreciate it (6oz)👊.
Froth 🥛 – Honestly decent froth levels all around. Little bit of variation going on amongst the brews, but sometimes u just gotta roll with the ‘lunches’ (Lmac punches).
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – The consistency of the froth was a slightly bit off for mine. Reminded us of the freo dockers atm. However, gotta say they looked pretty appetising. As appetising as a steak sandwich some might reason.
We’d like to thank very much and appreciate Little Sisto and Ben from @crafternoons_in_ for putting on an absolute clinic today. Some true and proper workhorses’ putting in a shift to make this review exceptional. Cherry and chocolatey brews can hardly ever go wrong. As my year eight teacher, Mr Tongue once said, “Two rules in life, be good and be kind to others.” These rippas certainly did that. Would check out this Sackville Tce hot spot for a great feed and divine brews. You beauty!
