FLIPPIN’ OATH!! A mighty fine experience was on our agenda today, and a mighty fine experience we had! Venturing to Hammy Hill to the brainchild of @sweet_chilly_philly92, his much-anticipated creation, @flip_espresso has been hotly recommended by you all for a review, so strap in, get ready and make sure you’re seated, because Flip put on a show and we’re dying to share it!
Vibes 🍃- Sometimes it is the case that treasures are not kept close and must be sought out. Has the answer been in Hamilton Hill all along? Flip is just outside the Hamilton Hill Shopping Plaza and makes use of what is a small space with a fair amount of seating and some cool decorating. Our favourite part has to be the friendly staff, hard not to feel like family when the barista knows every single person’s name!
Taste 👅- Always in for a treat when 5 Senses are running through the hopper. Today we sampled the famous ‘Crompton Road’ blend, and might we say, the best we have ever had it extracted. This Brazilian/Indian/Sumatran blend had a beautiful caramel malt and toffee that paired oh so well. French Kiss
Temperature 🌡- Unreal. What a time to be alive.
Glass Size 📏 – 6oz👍.
Froth 🥛 – Pretty perfect. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Absolute treat. One of the best we’ve come across, definitely the best we’ve had for a minute.
Wow. And just like that, a top 10 brew. Sometimes it really sneaks up on you but golly gosh this LM was awesome. Phil supplied us with a great tasting and flavoursome bean, a superbly heated and excellently textured milk, aesthetic and inventive latte art and a smile on his face when served that just made us feel warm, fuzzy and loved. This cafe experience is rare, so we really want to make it known when someone goes above and beyond. Well done, Phil, and to everyone at Flip, you guys are one of the best!
