Review #116 - @delichicchi

This week’s breview began obnoxiously. One bloke, freshly returned from euro summer, guffawed at walking on the wrong side of the footpath because “in Europe they do it differently”. What a loser. Nonetheless, the blokes’ spirits were lifted in anticipation of a fresh brew. This week, the blokes stopped by at Deli Chicchi.

Vibes 🍃- The blokes aren’t familiar with Mount Claremont, but Deli Chicchi seemed the quintessential suburban cafe experience. With a busy local crowd filling the rafters, the vibes were high. The staff were friendly, the seating comfortable and the menu looked amazing - nothing but praise blokes-side.

Taste 👅- It’s been a long time since we’ve tasted Perth roaster Daylight and perhaps it should’ve come sooner. This PNG coffee was a super nice balance of sweet and bold chocolate flavours with a lingering smooth caramel finish. If we were being picky, it didn’t have a dazzling amount of character but sometimes being humble is just as impressive

Temperature 🌡- Pretty handy temperature if we’re calling a spade a spade.

Glass Size 📏 – Slightly too much (8oz).

Froth 🥛 – Came in real clutch. Top 3 biggest respect moments.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Deli chichi have been running an absolute muck as of late in the latte art department. A real winner.

Si era un caffe eccezionale! We were a little blown away by this bad boy. A quaint little Mt Claremont corner favourite adored by locals and revered by us. Fantastic botanic décor, vines from wall to wall and smiles on the faces of the baristas and staff. A very well-done brew today, impressed to say the least. Deli Chicchi gives levels of aura likened to Cooper Sharmen vs Essendon (iykyk). Ben Fatto!

79.5/100 on the Brew ‘o’ Meter! 🤖🤝
