Review #117 - @henryms_manning

Piling into the brewmobile, the blokes sent it towards a previously uncharted brerea (brew-area) of Perth - the quaint suburb of Manning. Could the blokes’ newest contender, Henry M’s, sate their brust (brew-lust)? Read on to find out…

Vibes 🍃- Henry M’s was extremely busy, but the blokes managed to sneak a table by a sunny window to soak in the atmosphere. The light-coloured decor and cool fittings made for some beautiful wine-bar-vibes. This is one of those spots that the blokes could imagine coming back to for an alcoholic beverage or two at a later date.

Taste 👅- After a reasonable wait, the blokes were treated to a poster boy blend of speciality Perth coffee, ‘Darkhorse’ roasted by 5 Senses. This Brazilian/PNG/Tanzanian blend was very smooth, with a medium body and notes of caramel, toffee and stone fruit. Not quite the character of a 6oz ratio we are used to due to the 8oz glass (more about that soon) but it definitely still hit the spot.

Temperature 🌡- Could have been hotter. Still solid tho.

Glass Size 📏 – Yessir.

Froth 🥛 – Bit on the plus size. However was not a huge issue whatsoever.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Considering that it was as busy as a one-armed brick layer in Bagdad, we can understand why the latte art was not exceptional.

Henry M’s, Henry M’s, how do you do it? Today was a delightful brew, very few complaints. Their very capable barista successfully completed the ‘busy morning solo jobby’ challenge and managed to whip up some LM’s whilst maintaining a very friendly smile and making us feel extremely comfortable about our drive to Manning. A lovely shopping strip home to a great place to grab a coffee, served by legends, let us know who you are ;)
