Heading back to Subi, a favourite breareas (brew-area) of the blokes, it’s hard to look past Rokeby Road for the plethora of awesome coffee options available. This week, the blokes decided to try out Little Rokeby.
Vibes 🍃- Little Rokeby exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with heaps of natural lighting and rustic decor. The laid-back vibe is prime here and accentuates the neighbourhoody feel we associate with the Subiaco scene. The friendly staff added to the welcoming ambiance. It even had free lemon water the blokes enjoyed!!
Taste 👅- In the hopper today was a darker roast ‘Blend #4’ from Karvan Coffee, sporting some traditional Peru, Colombia and Colombian tasting notes of cocoa and dark berries. Whilst this flavour profile certainly appeals to some crowds, us younger blokes prefer our L-macs with a bit more of complex flavour profile.
Temperature 🌡- The temp was spot on 😍
Glass Size 📏 – A little over the perfect 6oz 😔
Froth 🥛 – Not too bad, one bloke received excessive froth while the others were great
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Perhaps not the most intricate design, but the 3 love hearts were greatly appreciated 🫶🏼
Another week, another instalment in our hunt for Perth’s very best long mac. In the heart of Subi, Little Rokeby stepped up to the plate, welcomed us in and prepared us our much-needed brews (and a lovely bacon and egg burger). Whilst the brew’o’meter doesn’t jump off the page, we can confirm that this is a very cool cafe, and our visit left us feeling happy, content and fulfilled.
