On a beautiful beachy Spring day, the blokes decided to head down to North Freo to review an artsy brew at @palettefreo. The birds chirped, the waves crashed, the sun shone, and the blokes got brewed up.
Vibes 🍃- Vibes have been really strong over the last few weeks and Palette was no different. It’s pretty hard to do badly in this category when you’re literally an art gallery/bar/restaurant/cafe all in one - not to mention being on the foot of one of Perth’s nicest beaches (Leighton). With beautiful polished concrete floors, beach views, awesome service and a classy fitout, the art was almost in the decor alone!
Taste 👅- Tasting what we believe to be the ‘Ping’ blend from one of our favourite small batch roasters – Grouch & Co. Origins of what we seemed to be El Salvador/Rwanda/Honduras culminated to give nougat, chocolate and perhaps a hint of molasses. Tasted maybe slightly on the acidic side this morning but still was a super nice blend overall. . If you get the chance, try one of their signature iced drinks, they looked frikkin awesome.
Temperature 🌡- Awesome temp. Perfecto 🫶🏼
Glass Size 📏 – 6oz 👌
Froth 🥛 – Solid effort
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Not the best of all time, but you can’t go wrong with a love heart ❤️
Well, that’s a wrap on an awesome beach option. With summer coming up, the idea of cruising down to the beach and grabbing a high-quality brew before or after a cleansing ocean dip is just freaking awesome. These guys are great, brew the hell on!
