Merry Christmas all. Full of a joyous and festive whimsy, the blokes decided to squeeze one more review into 2021. Community Coffee Co. has been a long-time favourite spot and truly was a Christmas treat...

Vibes 🍃 – If having a roastery within your café wasn’t enough, Community Coffee Co. provides a warm homely vibe tucked away in the back streets of Subi. ‘Serving up the good things in life’ is their motto and it is clear they take great pride in achieving this. Would be wicked to see this place with more seating and tables but we appreciate the ‘feel’ of a smaller venue.

Taste 👅- Community Coffee Co. roasts their own beans in house and you can really taste the freshness and careful thought that has been poured into it. Uniquely opting for a single origin milk blend really plays into a moorish flavour profile filled with grapefruit and cacao zest. Nothing too bold, or bland, a really well-balanced brew that we couldn’t recommend more.

Temperature 🌡 – Although being a scorching Perth summer day, the blokes were absolutely delighted with the snug temperature, and it was honestly faultless.

Glass Size 📏 - Perfect 6oz glass size, nothing else to be said here.

Froth 🥛 - The ratio of milk to froth for 2 of the blokes was near perfection and was very pleasing to see but unfortunately, one beverages froth was on the heavy side. Nonetheless, the froth levels were more than tolerable for a long macchiato.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 - To be blunt, GA/C could be improved, with bubbles abundant and inconsistent forth levels, it was difficult to score CCC above a 6.5. The latte art clearly demonstrated skill, perhaps we caught them at the wrong time.

Our final Long Mac review before 2021 comes to a much-anticipated end. Overall, the Brew’o’meter yielded highest on our quest thus far. Although the general appearance and consistency fell a tad lower than previous spots, taste and other categories hailed above all else. Recommendation… pop by and enjoy a brew with Community Coffee Co!
