This week, the blokes dove head first back into the figurative maze of boujee coffee options local to Perth’s Golden Triangle. Delivering as always, the blokes were thrilled to head over to the Mosman Park staple, Good Things…
Vibes 🍃- Within the beautiful suburb of Mosman Park, the blokes happened to find their way inside. Good Things bring all the ‘Good Things’ you’d want in a modern, 4th- wave café: inclusive seating, friendly staff, centralised bar, awesome street art and wicked merch... It was a really chillaxed vibe that us blokes can get around. “By good blokes, for good blokes.”
Taste 👅 – Good Things run a mixed blend from small studio roasters DoubleDouble Coffee . What we believe to be sourced from Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, this blend hits most the classic notes you’d expect from a milky brew: dark chocolate, praline, and a fair share of buttery ‘goodness’. Definitely in our minds a ‘crowd pleaser’ – does the job without being anything out of this world.
Temperature 🌡 – The blokes were impressed with the scalding, yet strangely comforting, embrace of the brew.
Glass Size 📏 – No complaints whatsoever; a 6oz glass is as natural and pure as water from a bubbling brook in the glacial fjords of Norway.
Froth 🥛 – Unders compared to Andy Brayshaw having a 25-disposal game – satisfying yet not mind blowing (more froth please!)
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Twist my arm… fine I’ll have a tulip!
They say “good things come to those wait”. Lucky for us we avoided the waiting and darted straight for the good stuff, as us blokes do. Similar to seeing young men aged 15-20 out and about, there was certainly Butter noticed, only this time it was a taste of our brew and not the street wear brand every man and his dog wear. Nevertheless, our socks were in the process of being swiftly taken off, just not quite completely blown off. Thank you for the support as always and we wish you the greatest of days.
