Vibes 🍃- Mt Lawley has been a location growing larger and larger on our café radar, with the discovery of Viaje, it has become a most wanted list! Once you find this hidden gem, it is well worth the ‘journey’… a lovely micro café with a pastel pink exterior and a warm glowing interior. Not too often are you serenaded while sipping a cuppa, but this was a rare moment where all blokes sat in blissful silence to soak it in. A rare 10/10 on the vibe’o’meter from us 😎
Taste 👅- Our fans know that us blokes love a unique brew that has a little character, personality, and something special. Well, this coffee absolutely ‘brew’ us away! This Ethiopian/Colombian house blend heavily featured notes of grapefruit, dried berries and nougat that we could just sip all day. The best part? That they produce and roast it all themselves - bien hecho 🙌
Temperature 🌡 – Was a swell temperature. 1-2 degrees hotter would’ve been perfecto.
Glass Size 📏 – 6oz, which is the correct answer.
Froth 🥛 – Bigger isn’t always better and sometimes average size is much more enjoyable. Take that as you will.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Latte art was decent. Would I tell my grandkids about it, probably not (would tell my kids though).

As the aromatic seasonal sweetness of easter chocolate caught the attention of our nostrils, a viaje to Viaje was on the horizon. With Viaje translating to “journey” in the exotic tongue of the Spaniards, us Antionio Banderas wannabes well and truly embraced this newfound fruity and colourful blend that really did tickle our fancy. Live music + good brews = awesome times. Nos vemos la proxima vez!
