Surrounded by house plants galore, an epic experience starting right when you step through the door.
Lots of fun we had for sure, it was sad to leave when all we wanted was a little more!
Their brews scrumptious with a cheeky little surprise, enjoy the story of Cherry and Grapes, a café well and truly on the rise.
Vibes 🍃- C&G is a humble establishment hidden in the backstreets of West Perth, with a warming (literally a fireplace) and comforting interior. The blokes appreciated the interior design choices and were especially ‘grapeful for the cat/cherry blossom art featured on the wall. As far as cosy wine/dining area vibes go, this place is off the charts, just seemed to be missing that specialty coffee environment that us long mac blokes adore.
Taste 👅- We know we are always in safe hands when we see Darkstar Coffee trickling through the grinders and they certainly didn’t disappoint! An awesome washed Guatemalan/El Salvadorian blend that was out of this world. Soft cocoa and butterscotch on the tongue complimented by a really well-rounded acidity. One of our new favs and a taste we will ‘cherryish’ for a long, long time.
Temperature 🌡 - Perfect in the sense it reminded us of cracking a cold one on Christmas Day. By cold one we mean a solo😉
Glass Size 📏 – ‘I love it.’ - Hiltop Hoods.
Froth 🥛 – Was nearly perfect and you would be hard pressed to find better ones.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Holy cheese balls did the brews look swell. Latte art was very nice, but the dispersion of the espresso through the silky milk was an absolute treat.
Our journey today ends with a hint of sadness, for this spot today filled us with gladness!
A delightfully chocolatey and buttery brew, warms our heart, was a rollercoaster of joy right from the very start.
