Surrounded by the coastal aromas of the vibrant Waterman’s Bay, the energies of the early morning “up and at ‘em” folk engulfed our hearts and made this opportunity truly one for the taking, so let’s jump aboard the Little Bay train and have a brew to start this Sunday.
Vibes 🍃- Little Bay, whilst little in name, was certainly large in heart. This café overlooking the sandy beaches and rocky cliffs is certainly something special. Not too often do we get to sit with stunning views of our magnificent coastline sipping on wicked brews. The owners obviously have a keen eye for design with lush foliage paired against a coastal whitewash the perfect touch. Blokes certainly seas’d the day!
Taste 👅- Our ‘bayutiful’ friends run a terrific blend from Melbourne based roasters ‘Locale’. This blend comprised of 3 origins from Colombia, Brazil and India hits you soothingly like the sea-breeze with notes of caramel, cocoa, and praline. A blend us blokes have tried before on our crusade, but no-one has extracted it quite as well as Little Bay ✅
Temperature 🌡 - Complimented the view of the ocean sublimely.
Glass Size 📏 – The blokes appreciated the ceramic glasses, not transparent, although 6oz was ‘swell’ 👌
Froth 🥛 – Wasn’t the frothier brews we’ve encountered. Nonetheless, it still went down a treat.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – We loved the look of the brews just the way they were. Considering how busy they were, the latte art was notable.
Mmm mm m. What a brew, what a cafe, what a location and what an experience. Busy, popular, sleek, and coastal, all cogs to a well-oiled machine resulting to a magnificent start to a Sunday. Felt good breroes (brew heroes)
78.9/100 on the Brew ‘o’ Meter 🤖🤝
