A very large cin cin to all of you breroes (brew-heroes). William Shakespeare once wrote “shall I compare thee to a summer’s [long mac]?”. Although it is no longer summer, an autumn long mac also does the trick. Today the blokes headed over to Myrtle Ivy for one of our new favourites! Bless up.
Vibes 🍃- ‘Turtle Myrtle’ (as we like to call it), is a West Leederville brew spot that exudes spirit and character. An awesome timber interior, low hanging lights and serene wall art gave a warm and loving feeling that us blokes could only admire. ‘Spe-shell’ shout-out to the lovely baristas this morning that fixed us up our brews – friendly, knowledgeable and above all, good peeps 🤙
Taste 👅- Awesome spread of Twin Peaks, Proud Mary and Market Lane Coffee single origins on offer that any coffee enthusiast can get behind. The blokes were treated to a delightful Brazilian blend courtesy of Twin Peaks that was ‘turtally’ awesome. Notes of peanut butter (yes, you heard us right), cocoa and cherry certainly made for an awe-inspiring brew, that was perfectly extracted and even more perfectly enjoyed. 5️⃣ ⭐
Temperature 🌡 - Reminds us of the sensation of cracking open a nice frothie on a hot summers afternoon. Utterly gorgeous
Glass Size 📏 – As Chandler Bing would say “Could it BE anymore perfect?!”
Froth 🥛 – Would be down to clown in the town with this froth. Boo Yah.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Generally, this appeared to be consistent… But let’s be real, latte art and consistency were amazeballs.
Well, that was a good brew. Actually, scratch that… that was a DAMN good brew. Amazing latte art. A succulent peanut butter-y taste with superb mouth feel. Shout out to the long-haired Male barista who was a Legendary bloke (emphasis on capital L). We will remember you Mr Nice Man. Be sure to check out the lovely, greenery engulfed Myrtle Ivy Cafe in West Leedy. You’ll want to tell your friends, trust us.
