With PP now equipped with plenty of dine-in cups, the blokes headed back to one of their favourite brewographical areas (Osbourne Park) to re-review a Perth café classic.
The ancient Latin expression, “industriae et specialitatem capulus”, notes that industrial areas and specialty coffee go hand in hand. The blokes made this expression up, but if the Romans had warehouses and long macs, they would definitely have said something like that. Plant Playground was very cool.
Vibes 🍃- Had to pick our jaws off the floor in-time to take in the vibes… super colourful plant warehouse that makes your forget you are ‘rooted’ in the centre of Osbourne Park’s industrial hub. Nursery, garden offices, a great big lilac shipping container and a wicked couch layout. Also, staff are super cool and knowledgeable… vibes don’t get too much better.
Taste 👅- Running a custom 5 Senses blend through a stunning Synesso MVP Hydra – 3 group made us happy blokes. This certainly wasn’t your ‘garden-variety’ blend. Notes of sweet caramel, praline and mild florals hit you right where you need it. Blokes felt like daffodils in the sun, thoroughly enjoyed.
Temperature 🌡- PP knew what they were doing. Again, left a smile on our face
Glass Size 📏 – 6oz Bles go. Would prefer a glass but it was lovely to see PP at their full potential.
Froth 🥛 - Was swell as can be.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Was as mid as a ‘Carlton Mid’. Not bad, but nonetheless nothing special.
We certainly played with plants today!
A beautifully aesthetic haven for coffee lovers and horticultural enthusiasts. The exquisite aromas of mulch and fertiliser fills our nostrils like a warm slice of Vegemite toast on a sunny Sunday morning. With dine in now apparent with these plant-playing people, our experience was only enhanced. Not a mind-blowing brew, but a darn tootin’ fine one!
78.8/100 on the Brew ‘o’ Meter! 🤖🤝
