While Perth’s active running-types completed a little jog to the beach, the blokes were busy pushing themselves in a real mental and physical challenge (drinking and reviewing long macs with their briends (brew-friends)). Today, the blokes hit up Preston Street Coffee. Huzzah!
Vibes 🍃- A small, shoebox shaped café sitting proudly on the friendly neighbourhood Preston Street (named appropriately). This place had a very welcoming atmosphere, a cosy interior, cute outdoor area, and super friendly staff. Not as much can be said for their malfunctioning dishwasher and subsequent lack of dine-in cups… they gave us a free coffee voucher for the inconvenience which was super nice. Vibes = top-tier.
Taste 👅- We were super pleased to see a custom blend from our Subi friends at ‘Blacklist Coffee Roasters’. A Brazilian/Ethiopian/Colombian mix that was silky smooth and super easy to drink. Notes of sweet caramel, a milky chocolate and a light/medium body made it quite the enjoyable sip. Extracted perfectly on the day with no complaints from any blokes 😊
Temperature 🌡- Like a kiss from a rose. Perfecto
Glass Size 📏 – Their dishwasher broke unfortunately, word around town that they have 6oz glasses though🤗
Froth 🥛 - Hard to judge, u know the drill. In saying that it had a real good mouth feel.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Look, we have a feeling that in glasses the latte art really would be something else. The baristas knew what they were doing, we’ll tell u that much for free😉.
The aromas of the Swan River accompanied with the lively nature of Sunday morning go-getters, made for atmospheric vibes of positively and joy. No dine in? No worries? We’ve had this brew before and goddang it was just as nice. Friendly reminder to say “you look good today mate” to a mate to make their day. धन्यवाद!
