Stepping back in the bring (brew-ring), the blokes were keen to re-join the virtuous and honourable fight that is the search for Perth’s finest brew. The blokes also felt inspired to channel their inner wine gurus, and thus P&M (a popular cafe/wine bar combo) was the pick of the day. Magnifique!
Vibes 🍃- Formerly ‘Pickles and Moo’, this ‘café meets wine bar’ establishment exudes a cozy ambience and chic modern design that the blokes can get behind. Some cool rustic decorations and family-oriented seating made for a welcoming environment. Nothing to blow our socks off, although one bloke remarked his ‘Avo go-go’ smoothie hit the spot.
Taste 👅- The blokes were happy to see the GOATs – 5 Senses Coffee, running a Brazilian single origin as standard in the house hopper. We didn’t quite get the peach and orange notes we were looking for, more of a boozy dark chocolate and cherry hit. Maybe wasn’t perfectly extracted on the day, but still a delightful slurp.
Temperature 🌡- P&M sorted us out with the temp today. Absolutely Lubly.
Glass Size 📏 – The cups themselves were 8oz and opaque, but it seems like P&M must be listening to our reviews as they only poured to about 6oz. ✅
Froth 🥛 - Hard to assess but let us just tell u that our mouths like what we felt.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Wasn’t the prettiest thing we’ve ever witnessed. Could definitely up the ante on the art of latte.
P&M. Quaint little wine bar/cafe nestled on Cambridge St, Wembley. Would love to see this place in action in the Post Meridian as a wine bar. A good destination if you’re after a safe and “mmmm” worthy brew. A PM establishment to hit up in the AM…
