Today, things became really hot, heavy, intense, and, of course, steamy at Steamlab, Applecross! With a metaphysical aura filling the air, we were joined by our good mate and Philosopher Jon, who not only made us question "What is a Long Mac" but, perhaps more poignantly, "Why is the Mac Long?" An enjoyable brew to add to the repertoire. Well done, soak it in.
Vibes 🍃- Steamlab, lounging south of the river in Applecross, is a breezy haven with a café so snug, it's practically pondering the meaning of life. Seating arrangement? Think outdoor al-fresco vibes that have quite a community feel, perfect to host your weekly existential discussion groups. No real x-factor inclusions, just a fantastic, friendly, communal atmosphere.
Taste 👅- The Steamlab scientists were experimenting with a Blacklist house-blend, composed of a mixture of Colombian, Ethiopian and Brazilian beans. Super malty with milk chocolate undertones and a smooth caramel finish. Perhaps it was missing that extra flavour quark, but you 'Kant' deny its gravitational pull as a crowd pleaser.
Temperature 🌡- Came out as 59 degrees. 1 degree below the Platonic ideal so we’ll round it up.
Glass Size 📏 – Yeah, they hit the nail on the head, we said it. 6oz transparent glass was cooler than Jon in shades (really cool)
Froth 🥛 - Consistently sexy. Steamlab sure did know their way around a perfectly steamed brew.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Simple is sometimes better, much like a philosopher in a toga. If u whip out a couple of awesome love hearts, look no further.
