The blokes have been spending a fair amount of brime (brew-time) in Leederville lately on their quest for the ultimate Perth long mac. This week, the blokes were very lucky to be joined by @willschofield31 at one of his fav spots. Among his many other talents, banter being one of them, Schoey is a keen brew drinker; and the blokes were thrilled to have the big man on.
Vibes 🍃 - Today we discovered Schoey’s local gem, Fields of Vincent, proudly situated along Scarborough Beach Road. This quirky joint is all about fresh bagels and delightful coffee. Decor? Nothing that'll make your goldfish jealous, but it does the trick. When it comes to group seating, there's not a massive selection, but if you manage to secure an outdoor spot in this weather, defend it like a certain no. 31 did in the 2018 AFL GF (apologies @jordan.degoey). There aren't many better spots around to bask in the rays.
Taste 👅- In the hopper today was a milk blend from the folks down the road in O’Connor at Pound Coffee Roastery. The Blokes got notes of caramel, milk chocolate and cherry that was crafted to perfection and extracted flawlessly. A rare crowd pleaser that had a hint of elegance to it… Schoey’s notes: “Coffee beans with a hint of cow’s milk”, take on-board whoever’s review you prefer.
Temperature 🌡- Could’ve been hotter. Was a huge what-if for FOV, like what-if Schoey didn’t play in the 2018 GF, would’ve WCE still won?
Glass Size 📏 – Jeez he was a big boy McEvoy. Might be the first 10oz we’ve seen, maybe too big
Froth 🥛 - We know froth how Schoey knows a fist… bit over the top here.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – We were impressed, the latte art (especially the swans) was something else.
Just like that. Fields of Vincent has now been reviewed. Blessed by a fist of glory, Schoey gave us good chat, sick vibes, and epic levels of handsomeness we aren’t familiar with. Size definitely matters to FOV, serving up a massive brew fit for an above sized man, respect, I guess. Great location, great outdoor seating, and even better locals. Can’t wait to get back(chat)😈
