Another week, another brew! The blokes have a renewed interest in Scarborough brews after hearing some good things in our DMs. Keep them coming please. This week, the blokes stopped by at Drift Kitchen. Huzzah!
Vibes 🍃- This cosy establishment in Scarborough is where the beach meets the ‘burbs. An ocean colour scheme with light wood fittings and plenty of plant life makes you feel as relaxed as could be. Service and food were super good, and the bacon and egg roll could be in a hall of fame category. Would’ve appreciated some tunes, but no stand-out complaints here.
Taste 👅- Drift peddle a custom blend from Osborne Park roasters Leftfield. Whilst we couldn’t get the specifics of it, it tasted Ethiopian/Kenyan with complex layers of flavours that the Blokes could certainly endorse. Notes of dark chocolate, smooth caramel, and a twist of orange that just about every coffee drinker would enjoy!
Temperature 🌡- Was right where it needed to be. Huge for the program.
Glass Size 📏 – Could’ve been 2oz lighter, maybe something the program could add to their regime.
Froth 🥛 – On the plus size slightly but that’s okay.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Not the brightest star in the sky. Latte art wasn’t great.
We certainly didn’t drift off with this LM! A popular Scarborough hot spot where the locals go to hang out, look fabulous and solve the political and economic problems facing the world. Extremely friendly workers, divine decor and a decent brew to complement it. Well done guys. Pat yourselves on the back.
74.8/100 on the Brew ‘o’ Meter! 🤖🤝
