Vibes 🍃- Pique epitomises the term coffee bar with a sleek under-counter modbar set-up that really breaks down the old-school barrier between barista and customer. This new Wembley café has a bright and welcoming interior with a beautiful Tasmanian Oak benchtop and a vibrant colour scheme that certainly does make you feel at home. We just wish that Grantham St wasn’t so darn close to tamper with the tranquillity this place deserves.
Taste 👅- Pardon the pun but this custom blend really ‘piqued’ our interest. A delightful Brazilian/Ethiopian combination that offers hearty caramel and cocoa tones balanced perfectly with the right amount of cherry and blueberry and an oh so well-rounded mouth feel. Perfectly extracted on the day and definitely a taste you will hear us ‘ramble on’ about.
Temperature 🌡- Let’s be real. The temperature at Pique was a really good temperature.
Glass Size 📏 – Nearly too good to be true. But it was true, and it was 6oz.
Froth 🥛 – Look sometimes u just gotta sit back and take things in for what they are. Real special.
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – 4 beautifully textured tulips. Not too sure why but these tulips hit the spot. Just very very clean.
An exciting brew spot today. Good brew? Absolutely. Cool decor? Yep. Open and friendly staff? Indeed. Innovative and revolutionary outlook? Yepskerdoodles. They even have a choice of three, house-made, tap brews to try. Trust us when we say you won’t be disappointed. You don’t see many places like Pique, if any! A small space, but a must visit🥰
